Clepsydra is an independent record label based in New York City, founded in 2025 by guitarist and composer Gabriel Vicéns. The label serves as a dedicated platform for his own music and aspires to support a diverse range of artistic projects in the future. The name Clepsydra refers to an ancient time-measuring device that operates through the flow of water. Gabriel drew inspiration for the name from a poem of the same title by John Ashbery, as well as from his own exploration of musical temporality. The label made its official debut with the release of Vicéns’s fifth studio album, Niebla, on March 6, 2026.
